Provision of a well balanced, stimulating aftercare programme to children of the
community.

Keeping young children engaged and stimulated and off the streets

A vibrant after care offering focusing on education, sports, music and cultural programmes attended by approximately 100 learners daily, who are provided with a meal every day and participation in the following

  • Homework assistance

  • Trampoline Acro Gymnastics programme Wherein our children participate, locally, nationally and internationally ..(In 2014 1 gymnast went to the World Acro Gymnastics competition in Miami USA In 2016 we had 1 acro gymnast who attended the WorldnChampionships in Turin Italy, and in 2018 we have had 1 Gymnast who has been to Belgium and has been selected for the World Acro Gymnastics competition in Argentina later this year)

  • Marimba Music Club programme where children learn to play the marimbas and get exposure to national competitions Two groups of youngsters have already toured London and won a number of categories of the International Marimba and Steel Pan Festival and various local awards

  • Art programme stimulates creativity and exposes children to a number of competitions and inter cultural experiences,

  • Chess programme to help develop strategic thinking, and mathematic abilities while providing opportunities for inter club and school competitions

  • Maths and English literacy programme for Grade 8 to 12 and have a separate programme also focusing on post matric guidance

  • A dedicated library and reading centre where children are assisted to read English to improve both their reading, comprehension and

  • pronunciation of the language

  • There is an ultra modern computer facility where the children get hands on training in computer literacy

  • Rotary Interact club started in 2015 learners obtain leadership training through leadership camps, outdoor activities and networking

  • Counselling where required

  • Holiday programmes, where funding allows
