In 2013 JWCC in partnership with Themba Thandeka Leadership institute started Mentors at school programme with the main focus of assisting high school children in English and Mathematics. It all started with a class of 24 Grade8 learners, who are currently in Grade12. The programme has grown now has about 100 learners.

The progress made so far is very encouraging.  Students who have been part of the programme are doing very well in their science subjects. From 2 volunteers in 2013, now we have 16 volunteers.
