REACHING BEYOND
A comprehensive training programme ,
including HIV/AIDS awareness, gender
awareness and human rights training,
first aid and home based care training, to equip community caregivers, CBOs and foster parents to offer high quality care and support to children and household affected and infected by HIV/AIDS.
A counselling unit that provides
compassionate lay counselling by local
supervised volunteers to children and
adults infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
Social services such as assistance with Government grants, I.D. book applications, clinic references for health services, victim support services and police assistance where
required
Food Garden Programme
We support local community members
and HIV/AIDS Support Groups for
growing vegetables in their own
small gardens, We encourage the
community to form co operatives
and to find common ground where
funding from government can be
used to develop the gardens
